Family Law and Adoption

Mitch represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including adoption.  These also include uncontested and contested divorces, child custody disputes including modifications of custody, contempt actions, protective orders, child support modifications and visitation disputes.


Criminal Defense

Mitch has represented hundreds of clients charged with criminal misdemeanor and felony offenses.  Examples of felony offenses are: Burglary and Theft cases, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of illegal narcotics.  These offenses are punishable by more than one (1) year of incarceration.  Examples of misdemeanors are DUI, Underage Possession of Alcohol, Family Violence Battery, and Theft by Shoplifting.  These offenses are punishable by less than one (1) year of incarceration.  Some specific offenses and rules concerning them are listed below:

This is all in an effort to provide closing settlements in a timely and friendly manner. We prepare all documents required by the parties, and the lender, to insure that your transaction is closed in the most efficient manner possible.

Mitch is an authorized title agent for Mississippi Valley Title, a subsidiary of Old Republic Title – a well known and reputable title insurance company.  He can provide title examinations and issue policies as part of your real estate purchase.
